August 27, 2009   The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) has chosen Activu, together with TWD and Davis Construction, to expand their current Activu-based enterprise visualization solution.   The expansion will network six multi-purpose rooms, utilizing audio and video technologies, to enable data collaboration and visualization within the TSA and with other DHS components to improve situational awareness.  The TSA chose Activu for its proven and highly secure IT-based software solution, which has been the key element to the TSA’s existing enterprise LAN/WAN architecture for transporting visual information.  Leveraging COTS hardware and open-based software architecture, the TSA has found that Activu provides  a more functional, user configurable, dynamic solution that is more cost effective than a traditional A/V switched matrix with proprietary device controllers.
